My mother met my stepfather Ted at the factory and they got married. I was 13 and resented him terribly, which made things very hard for her, which I came later to regret very much.
As I grew older we got on very well and he introduced me to real classical music, he being quite a good classical violinist. He was also in a Mandolin Band playing at various clubs in the district.
